The mission of the Sacramento River Discovery Center includes: School Programs-by training teachers and students the SRDC helps build understanding, appreciation and stewardship for the river and its resources; Public Programs-we are connecting the larger community to the wonder of discovery through monthly evening programs, spring watershed celebrations, volunteer opportunities, and displays which are constantly added to our visitor's center; Expanded Research-students and volunteers gather information about natural resources and water conservation practices incorporating research into student and volunteer programs.
