A one day teacher training is offered for teachers wishing to receive educational programming while camping at Camp Discovery. Participants will receive a variety of curriculum and organizational materials that will assure a quality camp experience. Materials are interdisciplinary and appropriate for all ages, some activities being primary, some geared to middle grades, some to middle and high school and/or adult education. The workshop day is spent doing activities, covering organizational issues in preparing for a camp, and enjoying a powerful learning experience with colleagues. Come prepared to get your feet wet and your hands dirty! Dress for the weather, wear or bring hiking shoes.
