Nothing can live without water. This simple fact means that people must do all they can to assure an adequate supply of water. Here you will find information about how water is used in our state, some ways you can use water wisely, and what our scientists, politicians, farmers and business owners are doing to make sure we have the water we need.

Information is from a variety of sources: the American WaterWorks Association, the Bureau of Reclamation, and the University of Wisconsin. Quicktime movies (you will need Quicktime 3) were produced with the help and support of the Bureau of Reclamation by students from Red Bluff High School.
