The
Sacramento River Discovery Center will use
educational displays and exhibits, hands-on
instructional programs, watershed rehabilitation
opportunities and other means to enhance the
public's understanding, appreciation, wise use,
and stewardship of resources that make up the
Sacramento River watershed. The Sacramento River
Discovery Center is about people working together
to make the world a better place, about optimizing
partnerships to maximize return on investments,
and about addressing needs of education, business,
and local and regional environments in a
collaborative endeavor. Forty-eight education,
government, and private groups provide the
foundation for the synergy of this effort.
